    Shipping Policy

    1. SHIPPING METHOD

    HK UPS for batteries. HK DHL and HK POST for other products.

    2. SHIPPING OPTIONS

    2.1 HK DHL

    Shipped from HK. Delivery time between 3–5 working days, excluding the shipment pick up date.
    Clients will have to take care of the customs clearance process once the goods arrives at the local customs. After the customs clearance is completed, the goods will be handed over to DHL for delivery.
    Once picked up by DHL, there will be no interception or change of receiving information.
    For efficient delivery, make sure the address and contact number of the recipients are accurate and available before delivery.

    2.2 HK POST

    Shipped from HK. Delivery time between 15–25 working days, excluding the shipment pick up date.
    Shipped by air. After the customs clearance is completed, the goods will be handed over to the post office for delivery. No need for customs clearance by recipients.

    2.3 HK UPS

    Shipped from HK. Delivery time between 3–7 working days, excluding the shipment pick up date.
    Clients will have to take care of the customs clearance process once the goods arrives at the local customs. After the customs
    clearance is completed, the goods will be handed over to UPS for delivery.
    Once picked up by UPS, there will be no interception or change of receiving information.
    For efficient delivery, make sure the address and contact number of the recipients are accurate and available before delivery.

    3. SHIPMENT CHARGES

    3.1 HK DHL

    The shipping rate is determined by the actual weight or the volumetric weight, whichever is greater. (The formula used to calculate the volumetric weight (kg) is Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) / 5,000). Shipments up to 21kg are calculated on a 0.5kg increment basis. A 1 kg increment applies for shipments equal or over 21kg.

    Surcharges

    For Remote Area surcharge, it charges by shipment weight. Minimum ¥258 per shipment or ¥3.5 per kg, whichever is greater.
    For Oversize Piece surcharge, it charges per shipment ¥900. This fixed surcharge applies to any piece that equals or exceeds the scale weight of 70kg or with a single dimension equals or exceeds 120cm.

    3.2 HK UPS

    The shipping rate is determined by the actual weight or the volumetric weight, whichever is greater. (The formula used to calculate the volumetric weight (kg) is Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) / 5,000).
    For multiple-piece shipments: use the greater of each package’s actual or dimensional weight (each rounded off to the nearest whole centimeter).
    Shipments up to 21kg are calculated on a 0.5kg increment basis. A 1 kg increment applies for shipments equal or over 21kg.

    Surcharges

    For Batteries surcharge, it charges per shipment DG fee ¥480 or ¥45 per box, whichever is greater.
    For Remote Area surcharge, it charges by shipment weight. Minimum ¥226 per shipment or ¥4.5 per kg, whichever is greater.

    3.3 HK POST

    The shipping rate is determined by the actual weight. Actual weight should not exceed 2kg.

    4. SHIPMENT DELIVERY

    4.1 HK DHL

    For significant damage to the outer packaging upon receipt

    • Just refuse delivery of the package
    • Confirm the receipt first. Then take a photo and file a complaint with local UPS to ask for a record number. Send the record number to the shipper, who will file a claim with UPS afterwards.

    4.2 HK UPS

    For significant damage to the outer packaging upon receipt

    4.3 HK POST

    For significant damage to the outer packaging upon receipt

    • Just refuse delivery of the package
    • Confirm the receipt first. Then take a photo and file a complaint with the local post office to file on record for reference later. Inform the shipper of the issue, who will confirm with the post office and then file a claim.

    5. COMPENSATION AND INSURANCE COVERAGE

    5.1 HK DHL Compensation Policy

    • If the goods hasn’t been picked up by DHL: when shipment missing is confirmed, the indemnity shall be the actual item value.
    • If the goods has been picked up by DHL: when shipment missing is confirmed, the indemnity shall be transportation cost + the item value declared (The maximum claim amount is 100USD).
    • Extra insurance coverage is suggested for goods with high value.

    Insurance Coverage

    • Charge by shipment value. ¥100 per shipment or 0.2% of the actual shipment value if higher. When shipment missing is confirmed, the indemnity shall be the insured value. There is a maximum deductible of ¥500 for our products (fragile products). So the final compensation shall be the insured value minus the maximum deductible. For example, with the insured value being ¥10,000, the final compensation shall be ¥9,500.

    5.2 HK UPS Compensation Policy

    • If the goods hasn't been picked up by UPS: when shipment missing is confirmed, the indemnity shall be the actual item value.
    • If the goods has been picked up by UPS: when shipment missing is confirmed, the indemnity shall be the item value declared (The maximum claim amount is 100USD). No refund of transportation cost.

    Insurance Coverage

    • Charge by shipment value. ¥150 per shipment or 0.15% of the actual shipment value if higher. When shipment missing is confirmed, the indemnity shall be the insured value.

    5.3 HK POST Compensation Policy

    • When shipment missing is confirmed: the indemnity shall be the item value declared (The maximum claim amount is HKD320). No refund of transportation cost or registration fee. The final compensation shall be subject to the post office.

    6. NOTICE

    6.1

    For shipments coming through inspection of customs or HK government, the transmit time will be 1-2 working days longer.

      6.2

      For shipments with unqualified invoice information like postcode or too many product names, the transmit time will be 1 working days longer.

        6.3

        For shipment during a Peak Period, the specific delay time is subject to actual circumstances.

          6.4 Surcharges for Delivery Interception

          • If the goods hasn't been picked up in HK, the interception fee shall be ¥250 per shipment. Please be noted that the interception goes without guarantee of success. No refund of interception fee. If the goods hasn't been picked up in HK and there is a second-delivery requirement, an additional handling fee of ¥100 will be charged if the interception goes smoothly.
          • If the goods has been picked up in HK and there is an interception requirement, the shipper can contact the express company for interception and change of receiving information only in the circumstances that the delivery has been refused by the recipient or the delivery has failed.
